Follow the Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio Murder Court Proceedings — Florida vs. Alicia Andrews





The court case of defendant Alicia Andrews of rapper Julio Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones is now underway in Hillsborough County Court.

Prosecutors say that she helped track the rapper’s movements while Foolio was in Tampa for his birthday. They claim she kept tabs with others who later trapped the rapper in a Holiday Inn parking area.

Multiple shooters allegedly fired dozens of rounds, fatally shooting the rapper and injuring three others.

Andrews is charged with first-degree murder and murder conspiracy.

Prosecutors have presented digital evidence that they say tie Andrews to the scene. This includes deleted texts and social media posts recovered from her phone.

Her defense attorney argues that she had no idea about the murder plan. The defense says she was not involved in any plot.

The case is being covered closely by fans of the late rapper because of the rapper’s large fanbase and ongoing feud rumors.

Day 6 of the trial has focused Julio Foolio case on phone evidence, with detectives explaining how they tracked cell phone activity across Florida.
